Project background

The main library for science, engineering and medical, dental and veterinary sciences at the University of Liverpool, the Harold Cohen is a grade 2 listed building, designed by architect Harold Dod and first opened in 1938. The work studiously undertaken by Harry Fairclough comprised the full refurbishment to the reading rooms along with the first floor reception area of this historic building.
