Project background
The work undertaken by Harry Fairclough comprised drainage to chambers and pump stations of sewage/water treatment works at the Treatment Plant in Irlam, Manchester. Work to new inlet screens was also undertaken, consisting of deep excavation, construction & drainage, over pumping and the breaking into of existing large sewage works. A dirty job – but we were proud to do it.
