Jason Houghton
Quantity Surveying Manager
In 1990, as part of his diploma course, Jason had to complete a period of work experience. Being a Warrington lad born and bred Harry Fairclough Construction was the obvious choice. In fact, Jason enjoyed the experience so much that he’s still with us to this day!
He spent 2 years learning the ropes and working in various departments while he continued his education on a day release basis. After which he decided that Quantity Surveying was definitely the career for him and took up our offer of a job as Assistant Quantity Surveyor in 1992.
During the next six years Jason continued his education via day release, reached his goal of becoming chartered in 1998 and progressed to become our Quantity Surveying Manager in 2003. Now, some 20 years on Jason still enjoys coming to work each day and says he finds the whole Harry Fairclough family business ethos creates an excellent working environment and is a great personal driver.
