NEWS RELEASE: SAFETY AWARD FOR CIVILS TEAM

At the Harry Fairclough Annual Award Ceremony for 2010 a team from its Civil Engineering Division held off strong competition to secure the company's ‘Project Safety Award'.
The team won the award for its outstanding performance in delivering the Mill Hill Bridge Strengthening project for Cheshire East Borough Council.
Gordon Davies, Contracts Manager for the project comments;
"The project to widen and strengthen the Mill Hill Bridge located on the boundary of Poynton, Cheshire and Hazel Grove was extremely complicated to execute. It is a credit to the professionalism and know how of the team that the project was delivered without incident or accident. The award was justly deserved particularly given that the new structure will support improved road safety for the local community".
