“I began my career as an accounts assistant; studying alongside work, I become a qualified Chartered Management Accountant, before progressing to work at a senior finance level for several SME’s, as well as large group businesses and national brands. My personal career development path, along with a strong background in providing senior financial support within the housebuilding and construction sectors, gives me a diverse range of expertise. I understand the financial challenges faced by businesses at all levels and the importance of robust planning processes and systems.
I joined Harry Fairclough Construction as Finance Director as I wanted to be part of a dynamic, growing business, in a sector that I love, and I’m genuinely excited to take on a new challenge of my role. I will be leading the well-established and talented finance team, whose time at the company ranges from 4-40 years of service, highlighting their commitment to the continued success of the business, and I am excited to be on that journey with them.
Harry Fairclough is a business with a strong heritage and I’m keen we keep that front of mind whilst embracing our ambitious future plans. I’m looking forward to bringing a new perspective, new processes and systems, aswell as challenging the existing systems to ensure the continued growth and success of the business. As the first female board member, I’m excited play a pivotal role in the future proofing of the business. My role involves being part of the senior management team working at board level to ensure the effective running of the business and ensuring that the overall business goals are delivered”.Our People
