“I am currently studying for a degree apprenticeship scheme studying Construction Management at Liverpool John Moores University. As part of my studies I spend time working within Harry Fairclough, office and site based to gain valuable practical experience. I was advised by a trusted contact within the industry that Harry Fairclough is a successful and evolving firm and after researching the business, it looked to be a dynamic and welcoming place to work.
After being accepted to the apprenticeship scheme I have immediately been made to feel part of the team. At this stage I feel that Quantity Surveying will be best suited to my skill set but I’m pleased to have the opportunity over the coming months to spend time in the different areas of the business to gain a better understanding of all aspects of the business and industry.
I’m enjoying learning about different aspects of the industry and seeing them put into practice onsite. I’m currently working on a project at Tatton House in Wythensure and will also get the opportunity to work on a project at the University of Liverpool in the coming months so I’m already experiencing a diverse range of projects and skills”.Our People
