Harry Fairclough Construction’s Civil Engineering team were delighted to be recognised in the CECA North West Annual Awards on Friday 11th October 2019. The CECA represents over seventy civil engineering North West companies of all sizes to ensure that the region continues to be able to benefit from world class infrastructure.

The Awards bring together members, local key stakeholders, politicians and dignitaries to recognise the people and projects within the region.

The recently finished A54 Buxton Road project for Cheshire East Council Highways won the Project of the Year in the Under £1million category, having already won an award in the Institute of Highway Engineering Mercia Brand Awards and the Safety Award in the CIHT North West Awards earlier in 2019.

Richard Longfellow, Managing Director at Harry Fairclough Construction, who has been with the business for over 30 years, was also awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award which recognises his outstanding contribution to the sector and his role as mentor to help train those coming into the construction industry.
